This hits really close to home for lots of people all over the world including myself. When suddenly the supposedly authoritative figure starts looking at the other person in other ways that constitutes "stepping out of line" with the person involved. There is always the pain and disappointment from usually the younger accomplice's family. Parents start to feel a sense of failure which does not necessarily mean it was their doing, but seems that way.

Unfortunately, a lot of adults happen to make choices that in their minds, is alright, or sometimes they may think that one only makes terrible mistakes when you are young.

What is important is the fact that this young lady's parents brought this situation to the attention of the authorities and in my opinion, to the attention of the whole world. All criticism from others as to whether or not her parents did this or that may do little or nothing to change the events that are unfolding.

Everyone could use some prayer for wisdom and guidance.
